Posted 8/17/06

Learn how to use Dr. Brown's Place-A-Matic, and Camera Raw images, to help recover detail in a blown out sky.

Alert! - If you are using the CS3 version of Place-A-Matic, then the Camera Raw dialog will NOT open while the script is running. Adjustments to the placed images must be done by double clicking on the placed Smart Objects that are found in the Layers Panel.

Unfortunately, the CS2 behavior that is shown in this tutorial is not available in CS3.

Creative Bookmaking

Learn a simple technique for creating handmade books from a single piece of paper. Create a six-page book, quickly and easily, with the supplied Action. This Action will only run in Adobe Photoshop. Also, a listing of the supplies necessary to construct your very own handmade book can be found on the Introduction Tutorial.

Warning!  The print settings used in this demo are based on early printer models from Epson, so many of the settings used in these tutorials have changed due to advances in printing technology. Because of these changes, you many experience some problems with the paper sizes that I have chosen for this project. It may be necessary for you to adjust the paper sizes to work with more modern printer models.
